CST CORNER STORES - KERRVILLE Assistant Managers in Training in KERRVILLE, Texas

Designated for employees in the process or receiving completing CST s Corner Store assistant manager training program. Position may also be responsible for providing assistant manager duties and responsibilities during the training period. Operatiorial responsibilities include providing direction for the facility and staff in the absence of the Store Manager. Processing customers of retail store in a manner that enhances the business and maintenance of the facility to support customer satisfaction and sales growth. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Minimum one year experience as Corner Store Customer Service Representative or two years general retail experience; ability to provide exceptional customer service; successful completion of all company sponsored CSR and applicable MDP( Manager Development Program) training; candidates may also be required to successfiilly complete additional certifications for this position which may include, but not limited to, ServSafe or equivalent Food Service program and Alcohol Certification (ABC). Some duties may or may not apply to certain departments and/or locations. Candidates will be required to successfully complete classroom, On the- Job and Computer-based training designated for Management Development Program Level 1. The following accountabilities must be acquired through structured training with the direct supervision of the Area and/or Store Manager: Daily posting of store reports, preparation of daily store deposit, and inventory management. Policy and procedure enforcement, customer satisfaction, safety and security awareness. Responsible for fuel management, daily surveys and inventory management delivery accountability. Assist in the training and development of store staff. Completion of tasks assigned by the Store Manager. Performance of routine store tasks/responsibilities the same as the CSR.
