Sodexo, world leader in quality of life services, has an exciting new opening for an Operations Support Manager in our Convenience Solutions division.

Current work place trends have shifted the need from traditional food service options to unattended, on demand, 24/7 hospitality services best suited for delivery through Convenience Solutions. Convenience Solutions’ offers and services are directly in line with the amenities that the Millennial workforce are demanding from their employers. We have experienced double-digit growth over the last five years, and expect to see even more growth in the coming years.

Our suite of services includes vending, microMARKETS, pantry, office coffee & refreshment, and water filtration across all Sodexo business segments. We provide services across the United States and Canada through a robust network of operators.

The Operations Support Manager will office out of the Convenience Solutions Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. This individual will work directly with the Sr. Executive.

This person will manage:

  • Multiple critical projects including defining objective, methods, timetable, and budgets.

  • Project management accountability on behalf of VP

  • Client relations (internal/ external)

  • Business development support

  • Logistics for meeting planning, special events, coordinating calls and calendars

  • Communication to sr. executives

  • Over seeing customer care center that provides support for 1.4 million consumer per month

  • Develop and/or implement business strategies for division growth

  • Manage working relationship with functions, including HR, Finance, Legal, IT, as well as Operation leads across all segments

It is critical that the person in this role exhibits the ability to motivate and manage themselves, project management skills, high stress tolerance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Project management experience is a requirement for this role and project management certification is also a strong plus.

(Please note: This is NOT a Food Service Management position)

Position Summary

Provides support regarding the proper implementation of operating standards and procedures. Develops appropriate communication tools for a division or area.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in operations
