Brand Safway Administrative Assistant/Receptionist in Beaumont, Texas
Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, takes dictation, and otherwise relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail by performing the following duties.
Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer. Prepares outgoing mail.
Takes dictation in shorthand or by machine and transcribes notes on typewriter or computer, or transcribes from voice recordings.
Composes and types routine correspondence.
Files correspondence and other records.
Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate official and places outgoing calls.
Schedules appointments for employer.
Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business, and conducts visitors to employer or appropriate person.
Arranges travel schedule and reservations.
Place orders for food service, flowers or other services for the office needed by employer.
Compiles and types statistical reports.
Orders office supplies, cell phones, computers and necessary accessories.
Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter. Keep supplies filled and in working order.
General housekeeping cleanliness of conference room, keeping supplies and fridge stocked for meetings and guest.
Associate's degree(A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
